Suffolk House is a Georgian-style mansion built in the early 1800s and once used as a residence by British governors of Penang; its restoration won a UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Award in 2008. Today it runs as a restaurant and hosts weddings in its first-floor ballroom, gardens and marble hall, as well as corporate and private events.
